Update: the seller reached out and offered to send me a new one. They sent a different model, and this new one is way better! My now 2.5 year old can pull the magnet shapes out herself and is able to erase the board herself. I didn't see any temperature constraints on the box, so I'm going to keep this one in the car as well. Hopefully it holds up better than the first one. I added a star for customer service, but I'd look for the newer model, and not get this specific one.We got this for my toddler (2) to draw in the car. She can't get the shapes out by herself and she can't erase it by herself, so that's frustrating. She can only draw so long before filling the screen. It's been in the car toy box for about 3 months now, and the screen seems to be losing some of the pixels. Maybe because it's been cold ? but that's a bit disappointing. We just got a LCD drawing tablet and like it way better.We used this on a road trip, good for kids to doodle. Not for the super artsy kids that want lots of details in their pictures.Fun and entertaining for my toddler!!13-month old loves this! It's the right size for a toddler's lap.Purchased this for my granddaughter and my grandson who’s two years older immediately took it and enjoyed it throughly. Very simple, it’s magnetic drawing with a few different magnets in shapes of a flower, heart, star with a string connected drawing magnet. The only improvement I would suggest is to have the shapes lightly magnetically held in place. I can see those pieces getting lost. Otherwise it reminded me of an etch a sketch when I was a child.I recommend itI bought this for my toddler for our road trip. He absolutely loves it. However, the magnet at the end of the pen came out as soon as he started to use it. We have to help him put the extremely tiny piece back in the tip of the pen for it to work. Made it not road trip friendly at all. He plays with it at home, but again someone has to be with him to help when the piece comes detached.Edit: the company has reached out to see how to fix the issue. It appears the magnetic piece coming out is a design flaw they are looking to fix.
